New York, NY

  Educational Details

The City That Never Sleeps, The Big Apple, Capital of the World. Whatever its name, New York City is more than a city of bright lights and skyscrapers. It’s a city of culture and educational experiences found nowhere else in the world. From the bright lights of a re-energized Broadway to the most intimate Off-Broadway spaces in the village, New York theatre and performance offerings are unparalleled. World-class music, opera, and ballet performances at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and more than 40 Broadway Theatre’s are waiting to be discovered by your group.

From incredible art galleries and museums to some of the world’s best restaurants, New York’s many offerings and attractions are well known to most visitors. To give your students a truly “educational” experience, consider working with a Broadway performer to learn choreography and music from a current Broadway show, attending a rehearsal and working with a professional conductor, visiting a special effects shop, or meeting with a Broadway producer to learn about the requirements and challenges of running a Broadway show. Whenever you visit and whatever part of town you’re in, there’s always something special to see or experience in “the city that never sleeps.”
